Nancy Foster, Sano Community (1946-2011)

She was a member of a large, respected East Adair Co., KY family. She was a member of the New Victory Baptist Church, Russell Springs, KY, and was a retired factory worker

Nancy Foster, age 65 years of Gentry Mill Road, Columbia, KY (the Sano Community) passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 8:14pmCT, at her home after several months illness.

The funeral service will be Friday, August 5, 2011 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Rick Neff and Bro. David Coffey the officiating clergy. Interment will be in Freedom Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the funeral home.



Nancy Foster, Sano Community (1946-2011)

Nancy Foster was the daughter of the late Holland and Emma Foley Stanton of the Sano Community. She was born Saturday, February 23, 1946 in Russell County. She died Tuesday, August 2, at her home in Adair Co., KY at the age of 65 years, 5 months, and 10 days.

She was a member of New Victory Baptist Church in Russell Springs, KY and a retired factory worker.

Survived by the following:
  • Her husband: Larry Foster, Sr. of Columbia, KY

  • One son: Larry Foster, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Columbia, KY

  • Two brothers: Gary Stanton of Columbia, KY and Larry Stanton of Russell Springs, KY

  • Two sisters: Claudette McGowan of Jamestown, KY, and Martha Foster of Columbia, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Britany Lynn Corner, Trevor Dean Foster and Samantha Duff

  • One great grandchild: Zachary Duff

  • Several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends survive
