Paul Richard "Dick" Acree, 59, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 7:28pm, Thursday, July 28, 2011, in Columbia, KY.

The memorial service will be at 11amET/10amCT, Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Brent Gupton. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg RD, Campbellsville, KY.



Paul Richard (Dick) Acree, Taylor Co., KY (1952-2011)

Paul Richard "Dick" Acree was the son of the late Garland Acree and Margaret Smith Acree. He was born in Green Co., KY, Sunday, February 3, 1952. He died Thursday, July 28, 2011, in Columbia, Adair Co., KY, at the age of 59 years, 5 months, and 25 days.

He professed faith in Christ and attended Meadowview Baptist Church.

He owned and operated Acree & Company, a marketing and advertising agency in New York for many years.

He is survived by the following:
  • One sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Butch Cox of Campbellsville, KY

  • Beloved cousin: Huston "Sonny" Mardis of Campbellsville, KY

  • Four nieces: Lauryn Cook and husband, Jonathan of Campbellsville, KY; Allison Acree, Jennifer Acree and Elizabeth DiNapoli and husband, Louis of Victor, New York

  • Four aunts: Frances Smith and Jane McCubbin of Campbellsville, KY; Sarah Brockman of Lebanon, KY; and Letha DeWitt of Greensburg, KY

  • Several other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Allen King Acree.

The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
