Louise Dial Scott, 78, of Louisville, formerly of Adair Co., KY, passed away Monday, July 25, 2011, at Saints Mary and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, KY.

The funeral service will be Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 11amET/10amCT, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville (Shively), KY. Burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West, 4400 Dixie Hwy, Shively, KY. Visitation will be from 2-8pmET, Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at the funeral home.



She was born in Adair Co., KY. She was the daughter of the late Johnnie and Louie Estes Dial.

She was a retired assembly line worker at General Electric where she worked for 29 years and was a Baptist by faith. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ernie Scott, five brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include the following:
  • Three sons: Shively, Michael and Glenn Scott

  • One daughter: Loretta Block

  • One sister: Frances Smith, Columbia, KY.

  • Thirteen grandchildren

  • Eighteen great grandchildren
