Call arrived at CM World Headquarters at 6:20amCT, Friday, July 1, 2011, for the Adair Farmers Market, 409 Fairground ST, Columbia, KY. It's open today from 6am-10amCT, as it is on each Tuesday and Friday during the growing season. Starting Saturday, July 9, 2011, the market will be open each Saturday from 8am-12pm noon CT for those whose public jobs make the Tuesday-Friday hours inconvenient.

Half-runners here today!

I'm back today at the Farmers Market today and here's my report, with this alert: If y'all have already been out here looking for half-runner beans, come back. John and Joyce just pulled in with a pretty good stock of half-runners. This is what was available at 6:29amCT:
  • Darrell Bunnell, Coview Farms, Coburg, KY: Fresh Eggs. Fresh Pork. Fresh Chicken. Herb plants. Mums for planting. Fresh Cut Flowers. Cabbage. Broccoli. New Red Potatoes. Kohlrabi in Red. Kohrabi, white.
  • Caitlyn Bunnell, Coview Farms, Coburg, KY: Fresh baked Lemon Bread. Wheat Bread, White Bread. Zucchini Bread.
  • John and Joyce Wolodozki, McGaha, KY: Tomatoes. Red for slicing, sandwiches, and salads. Green for Fried Green Tomatoes. HALF-RUNNER BEANS. Brown Stick Beans. Roma Beans.
  • Myra Harrison. Yellowhammer Road Farm. Fairplay, KY. Roma Beans. Yellow Squash. Zucchini. Red Cabbage. Green Cabbage.
