Judy Grant sends more on the Old Washing Machine

Comments re article 45244 Would hate to see old washing machine go to junk yard

By Judy Grant

If Rick Caldwell or any other reader can share information about the Old Washing Machine we found, I would appreciate hearing it.

I think it is neat also, but I don't have the time or knowledge to do anything with it. I did look it up on the internet and some go back as 1929, that's about all I know.

I did see a video on there that showed one running. Someone had restored it and it looked real good. You should see the commercial that went with it, it was really funny. It was about someone looking for a cheap economical washer ( a hard to please customer) and the dealer showed him this washer.Needless to say the buyer went out the door. lol

As for the machine in the photo, we haven't junked it yet. We were late getting back from church last night so we didn't fool with it.

When we do get it out, I'll send you some pictures of it without all the other junk around it.

Thanks again! --Judy Grant
