Gladys Ruth Bolin, 92, W. Cumberland AV, Jamestown, KY, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at the Cumberland County Hospital, Burkesville, KY.The funeral will be at 1pmCT, Friday, June 17, 2011, at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main ST, Jamestown, KY, with Dr. Rick Garner officiating. Burial will be in the Dunbar Cemetery, Jamestown, KY.



Gladys Ruth Bolin, Russell Co., KY (1919-2011)

She was born Saturday, February 15, 1919, in Jamestown, Russell CO., KY. She was the daughter of the late James Stewart Dunbar and Myrtie (Marrow) Dunbar. She died Tuesday, June 14, 2011, in Burkesville, Cumberland Co., KY, at the age of 92 years, 3 months, and 30 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Jamestown First Baptist Church.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Larry Bolin, Owensbor, KY; and Phillip Bolin, Hypoluxo, FL

  • And an host of nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Stewart, Johnny, Porter, Roy and Ed Dunbar; and four sisters, Mary Milford, Josie Davis, Lilliam Williams, and Ann Chatham.

The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main ST, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
