A graveside service will be at 1:30pmET/12:30pmCT, Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at the Lebanon National Cemetery, 20 Highway 208, Lebanon, KY, by Bro. Daniel Cook.

Duluth Glenn Parson was the son of the late Edgar Parson and Della Keltner Parson. He was born in Adair Co., KY, Friday, October 25, 1935. He died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, in Greensburg, Green Co., KY, at the age of 75 years and 7 months.

He was of the Methodist faith.

He served his country honorably in the United States Navy, having retired as a Boiler Technician First Class with the Navy.

He is survived by the following:
  • One sister: Mitchelyn Parson Squires and husband, Floyd of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three nieces and one nephew: Diane Squires Bruner and husband, Ross of Scottsdale, AZ; Tammy Squires and husband, Jeff Derringer of Cary, North Carolina, Toni Parson and Terry Parson of Chicago, IL
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister, Roy L. Parson, Junior Parson and Thomazine Bensheimer.

The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
