David Curtis, 65, of Mannsville, KY, died at 12:45amET, Friday, May 20, 2011, in Mannsville, KY.

Funeral services will be at 11amET/10amCT, Monday, May 23, 2011, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, by Dr. Gary Ervin. Visitation will be after 5pmET/4pmCT, Sunday, May 22, 2011, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Green Co., KY.



Pallbearers: Larry Marcum, Mark Mitchell, Terry Robertson, Josh Sprowles, Larry Wicker, and Ron Wooley.

David Curtis, Taylor Co., KY (1945-2011)

David Curtis, was the son of Anna Margaret Coulter Curtis and the late Joseph David Curtis. He was born in Boyle Co., KY, November 7, 1945. He died in Mannsville, Taylor Co., KY, at the age of 65 years, 6 months, and 13 days.

He professed faith in Christ and is a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Greensburg, KY.

He was employed as a construction mechanic.

He is survived by the following:
  • One son and two daughters: Dwayne Curtis and Kim Thompson and husband, Greg of Campbellsville, KY; and Kandy Jo Curtis of Lexington, KY

  • Seven grandchildren: Amber Gribbins and husband, Kirby of Bradfordsville, KY; Paige Thompson, Bailey Thompson, Tayler Thompson and Chloe Thompson of Campbellsville, KY; John David Seebold of Lexington, KY; and Candace Parson of Russell Springs, KY

  • Two great-grandchildren: Kaylee Cheatham and Tori Gribbins of Bradfordsville, KY

  • His mother: Anna Margaret Curtis of Danville, KY

  • Two sisters: Violet Curtis of Mitchellsburg, KY; and Bonnie Whitis of Danville, KY

  • His former wife: Lottie Curtis of Campbellsville, KY

  • And several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Parson May 10, 2010.

The family requests expressions of sympathy be donations to the funeral expenses and may be made at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
