Alfred Brady Cawthorn age 79, of Glasgow, died Sunday May 15, 2011 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY

Funeral services were at 2pmCT, Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at the Butler Funeral Home, 201 East ST, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the New Liberty Cemetery.

He was the son of the late Alfred Joe and Lillie Bell Hiser Cawthorn.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Cawthorn of Glasgow, KY
  • Three sons: James (Alma) Cawthorn of Alabama, Allen Cawthorn of Edmonton, KY; and Michael (Colleen) Cawthorn of Glasgow, KY

  • Two daughters: Sharon (William) Whittom and Brenda (Romey) Brooks both of Glasgow, KY

  • Nine grandchildren: Brandon Cawthorn, Tabitha Froedge, Joseph Cawthorn, Samantha Hunter, Melissa Compton, Christopher Cawthorn, Julie Derry, Autumn Cawthorn, Zoey Cawthorn

  • Sixteen great grandchildren

  • Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Herbert Cawthorn; and three sisters Agnes Hiser, Minnie Poynter, and Katie Ferguson.

    Butler Funeral Home, 201 East ST, Edmonton, KY, was in charge of arrangements.
