She was the widow of Charlie Edward Shaw Ruby James Grider Shaw, 80, of Burkesville, KY, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY. Funeral services will be on Sunday, May 8, 2011, at 1pmCT, at Ballou and Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Greg Wells officiating. Burial in the Grider Cemetery in the Amandaville Community of Cumberland Co., KY. Visitation will be from 5:30pm-9pmCT on Saturday, May 7, 2011, at the funeral home. Ruby James Grider Shaw, Cumberland Co., KY (1931-2011) Ruby James Grider Shaw was born in Cumberland Co., KY, on Friday January 23, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Bertie Firkins Grider, and the late Carmel Grider. She died Thursday, May 5, 2011, in Burkesville, Cumberland Co., KY, at the age of 80 years, 3 months, and 13 days. She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Edward Shaw; one brother, Guy "Bully" Grider; and two sisters, Gladys Tweedy; and Mae Shaw.Survivors Include the following:
