She was a native of Cumberland Co., KY and a member of a highly regarded South Central Kentucky family. She was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church and had retired from Fruit of the Loom, Campbellsville, KY

Winnie B. Eastridge, 82, died at 2:50amET, Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services will be at 3pmET/2pmCT, Friday, April 22, 2011 at the St. Mark United Methodist Church, 400 Meader ST, Campbellsville by Rev. William Herndon and Rev. Richard Lowe. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg RD, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmET/4pmCT, Thursday, April 21, 2011 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY.



Winnie B. Eastridge, Taylor Co., KY (1929 - 2011)

Winnie B. Eastridge was the daughter of the late Rev. Taft Thrasher and Mellie Frances Capps Thrasher. She was born in Cumberland Co. KY, Thursday, February 21, 1929. She died Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY, at the age of 82 years, 1 months, and 30 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the St. Mark United Methodist Church.

She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, KY.

She united in marriage to Calvin K. Eastridge February 10, 1945.

Besides her husband, Calvin K. Eastridge, she is survived by the following:
  • One son and two daughters: Kenneth J. Eastridge and wife, Galene, Pam Smith and husband, Norman and Lois Jane Thompson, all of Campbellsville, KY

  • Six grandchildren

  • Seven great grandchildren

  • Two great great grandchildren

  • one sister, Earlene Williams of Nashville, TN

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister: Jack Thrasher, Bill Thrasher, Earl A. Thrasher and Mary Rhea.

The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
