GWS Lexicon: More proper Adairification of holt

Comments re article 43735 Questions for GWS LexicographersStranger in a strange land writes:
I believe the answers to Ms. Kolbenschlag's questions may be found in the Adair Assimilation Academy's course titled "Advanced Mumbling: the Adairification of the Queen's English."

As I recall from my own brief encounter with that esteemed establishment of academia, the more common--and therefore more proper--pronounciation of holt is a-holt.

If that recollection isn't correct, maybe one of the AAA professors will be so kind as to advise the CM readership of same.

Signed,
-A stranger in a (very) strange land
Readers should note that, from the postmark, it appears the "stranger" is a Kentuckian self-exiled in Shawnee territory. -CM
