Fabricio Morales named MSC Men's Tennis Player of the Week

Lindsey Wilson College freshman Fabricio Morales, Cancun, Mexico, is the Mid-South Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week, according to a conference announcement Monday, April 11, 2011.

Morales had a 6-0 record in singles' and doubles' matches combined for the week.



The conference honor is the first of the season for Morales. Three other Blue Raiders have received the award.

Morales won his match against Bethel University 6-0, 7-5, topped Tennessee Wesleyan University 6-4, 6-3 and beat his Brescia (KY) University opponent 6-1, 6-0.

Lindsey Wilson won all three matches with the help of an undefeated week from Morales. His doubles' scores were just as impressive, topping Bethel 8-3, Tennessee Wesleyan 8-4 and Brescia 8-2.

Lindsey Wilson Tennis will face Campbellsville University at 3pmCT, Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.
