Wayne Delmore Phillips, 70, of Tampa, FL, and Campbellsville, KY, died at 9:49amET, Thursday, April 7, 2011 in Tampa, FL.

Funeral services will be at 1pmET/12pm noon CT, Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY by Bro. Ed Montgomery. Burial will be in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg RD, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be after 10amET/9amCT, Saturday, April 16, 2011, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.



Wayne Delmore Phillips, Taylor Co., KY (1940-2011)

Wayne Delmore Phillips was the son of the late Ray H. Phillips and Blanche Thompson Phillips. He was born Saturday, October 5, 1940, in Taylor Co., KY, , and died Thursday, April 7, 2011 in Tampa, Hillsborough Co., FL, at the age of 70 years, 6 months, and 2 days.

He united in marriage to Phyllis Kearney September 28, 1961.

Besides his wife, Phyllis Phillips, he is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters and one son: Misty Phillips of Phoenix, AZ: Lisa Robin Colodny of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and Curtis Dwayne Phillips of Tampa, FL

  • One granddaughter: Samantha Peyton Colodny of Ft. Lauderdale, FL

  • One brother: Wilbur D. Phillips of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: Garnett K. Phillips August 18, 1957, Alton R. Phillips June 15, 1969, Marguerite Clark December 15, 1977 and Irvin Phillips and Nancy Phillips in infancy.

The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY in charge of arrangements.
