Gary Rose will speak to Rotary about Cycling Adair Co., KY Columbia cyclist Gary Rose will speak to the Columbia Rotary Club, Monday, April 11, 2011, about the ups and downs of cycling Adair county roads. Gary and Diane Rose are the founders of Bicycling Adair, an advocacy group which is promoting bicycling in Columbia and Adair County. Rotary has been discussing the growing interest in cycling and any role the club might play in making road cycling in Adair County a safer experience. This meeting is open to the community, and anyone with an interest in cycling is welcome to attend. The meeting will be at the Lindsey Wilson Dining Center and includes dinner at a cost of $7. The dinner will begin at 6pmCTand the program about 6:20pmCT. Columbia Rotary welcomes all for for the dinner or just the program.
