Armstead Hulse, 82, of Murray, KY, formerly of Burkesville, KY passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011, at Spring Creek Health Care Center in Murray, KY.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2011, at 1pmCT, at Ballou and Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main ST, Burkesville, KY, with burial in the Dutch Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from5pmCT until 9pmCT, on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville.



Armstead Hulse, Cumberland Co., KY (1928-2011)

Armstead was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on Tuesday, April 17, 1928, He was the son of the late Agnes Glover Hulse, and the late Clarence Hulse, Sr. He died Thursday, April 7, 2011, in Murray, KY, at the age of 82 years, 11 months, and 21 days.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Arms Hulse, one daughter, Mary Martha Hulse; one brother, Clarence Hulse, Jr.

Survivors include the following:
  • Three sons: James Howard Hulse of Scottsville, KY; Joe Hulse of Louisville, KY; and John Hulse of Creal Springs, IL

  • One daughter: Barbara Ann Wolford of Murray, KY

  • One sister: Virginia Johnson of Winston Salem, NC

  • Six grandchildren

  • Three great grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, Burkesville, KY in charge of arrangements.
