Campbellsville Cheerleaders to hold tryouts April 30, 2011 News from Campbellsville University Athletics The Campbellsville University Cheerleaders will be holding co-ed cheer and mascot tryouts for the 2011-12 season starting at 10amET/9amCT, Saturday, April 30 in the Powell Athletic Center, 204 Tiger Way, Campbellsville, KY. (CU Facility Directory) There will also be a cheerleading clinic prior to tryouts on Friday, April 29, 2011 from 6pm-8:30pmET at Powell Athletic Center. Campbellsville University cheerleaders have won two Mid-South Conference championships in the last four years. Requirements for females include: Standing back handspring, running tumbling pass, roundoff back handspring (or higher), tumbling, sideline and fight song, jumps (toe touch and hurkey). Requirements for males include: Co-ed stunting and sideline. Mascot requirements include: Game scenarios and game readiness.For additional information competitors for openings are asked to contact Coach Vanessa Adkins at vladkins@campbellsville.edu.
