News from Adair Co. School District

The tragedy in Japan captured the hearts and minds of a group of sixth-grade students at Adair County Elementary School. As a result of their efforts, students at ACES were allowed to wear their pajamas to school in exchange for a donation to the Salvation Army Japan Earthquake-Tsunami Relief Fund.

Students raised nearly a thousand dollars - well beyond their three-hundred dollar goal. Supervising teachers were Rachel Bardin and Miranda Ellis. The students were Hayley Reynolds, Kareisha Derman, Sadie Reynolds, Lissette Trejo, and Katy Roy. Alan Reed
