NFL scouts showing interest in Stan Warrenhuffman, CU By Chris Megginson / Campbellsville University Athletics CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - Campbellsville University wide receiver Stan Warrenhuffman is catching the eyes of NFL scouts. The Cincinnati, Ohio native worked out for NFL scouts from The National and BLESTO recruiting services during a Junior Pro Day at Campbellsville's Finley Stadium on Friday, March 25, 2011. Warrenhuffman, who set the CU single-season record for receptions in 2010 with 56, was hand-picked by the scouts after viewing game film. He led the Tigers during his junior year with 716 yards, for an average of 59.7 per game, and had seven touchdowns. He's the first Tiger player during the Perry Thomas coaching era to be asked to conduct a Pro Day on his home field. "Stan is a tremendous football player, team player and man of character. His contributions to our team as a play maker and leader is unquestioned. I think he will be a excellent player at some level after leaving CU," Thomas said. Campbellsville will begin its season Thursday, September 1 at 7pmET, when it hosts Union College of Barbourville, KY, at Finley Stadium, 204 Tiger Way, Campbellsville, KY.
