Hilda Mae Sutton, Casey Co., KY (1931-2011)

She was the matriarch of a large, respected Casey Co., KY, family. She leaves 46 direct living descendants. She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Tabernacle Church

Hilda Mae Sutton, passed away Saturday March 26 , 2011 at her home in Liberty. She was 79.

Funeral services are at 11amET/10amCT, Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville RD, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Morris Bryant officiating. Burial is at Brush Creek Cemetery. Visitation is Monday, March 28, 2011, from 6pm-9pmET/5pm-8pmCT and will continue Tuesday from 8amET/7amCT until funeral service.



Hilda Mae Sutton, Casey Co., KY (1931-2011)

Born Wednesday, October 28, 1931, she is the daughter of the late Harem and Thelma Hassler Cross. She died Saturday, March 26, 2011 in Liberty, Casey Co., KY, at the age of 79 years, 4 months, and 26 days.

She was a homemaker and member of the Liberty Tabernacle Church.She is the widow of Forrest "Bob" Sutton.Survivors include the following:
  • Four sons: Danny Sutton of Liberty, KY; Michael F. Sutton of Virginia, Timothy M. Sutton of Russell Springs, KY; and Brett M. Sutton of Jamestown, KY

  • Four daughters: Cindy Hooten of Liberty, KY; Patricia Parten of Alabama, Brenda Sutton and Kimberly Holsapple both of Ohio

  • Twenty four grandchildren

  • Eighteen great grandchildren

  • Two sisters: Barbara and Deborah Vaughn both of Liberty, KY

  • Four brothers, Rondell Cross of Eaton, Peck Cross of Hustonville , Harlen Cross of Liberty and Larry Cross of Columbia, KY
In addition to her parents and husband, Hilda is preceded in death by two brothers, Willie and Ernest Cross.

McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville RD, Liberty, KY, in charge of arrangements.
