Janet Marie Grant age 56 years of Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011 4:53pmET, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Funeral service Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 1pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQuearyFuneral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Jadell Janes and Bro. Ronnie Campbell the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY. Visitation after 4pmCT, Saturday, March 26, 2011.



Janet Marie Grant, Adair Co., KY (1954-2011)

She was born on Thursday, August 12, 1954 in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late William Clyde and Nealye Keltner Grant. She died Wednesday, March 23, 2011, in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY, at the age of 56 years, 7 months, and 11 days.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Angie Erwin and her husband Ricky of Edmonton, KY; and Debbie Eaton and her husband Timothy of Glasgow, KY

  • Two sisters: Phyllis Rogers Green and Marsha VanArsdale, both of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: David Grant and his wife Toni of Jackson, GA

  • Four grandchildren: Trevor Eaton, Peyton Eaton, Tori Eaton and Colton Erwin

  • Two step grandchildren: Michelle Branham and Michael Brooks

  • Three step great grandchildren

  • Sister in law: Brenda Grant of Columbia, KY

  • Special friend Dennis Underwood of Columbia, KY
Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends survive.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Allen Grant on February 4, 2008 and three triplet sisters Paula, Pamela and Patricia Grant.

She was a member of the Milltown United Methodist Church and a former employee of Sumitomo in Edmonton, KY.
