Jo Sullivan, Green Co., KY (1926-2011)

She was a native of France and was a French teacher for Georgetown College and a homemaker. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Mrs. Josiane "Jo" Sullivan of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Mr. Duquesne and Feddy Faure Duquesne, was born on November 8, 1926 in France and departed this life on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at the University of Louisville Hospital after a short illness. She was 84 years, four months and 15 days of age.

The funeral services for Mrs. Josiane "Jo" Sullivan will be conducted at 1pmCT, Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, 526 Temperance RD, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Dr. Gary Ervin will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 3:30 until 8pmCT, Friday, March 25, 2011, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY and after 10amCT, Saturday at the Bethlehem Baptist Church until time of the funeral service.

Mrs. Josiane "Jo" Sullivan was daughter of the late Mr. Duquesne and Feddy Faure Duquesne, was born Monday, November 8, 1926 in France and departed this life on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY, at the age of 84 years, 4 months and 15 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was a French Teacher for Georgetown College and was a homemaker.

She united in marriage to Caleb Paige Sullivan on July 6, 1947 who preceded her in death on August 18, 2009.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two daughters and a son-in-law: Rosetta Sullivan, and Annette and Mike Houk all of Greensburg, KY

  • Eight grandchildren: Patricia Grace Lapp, David Neal McGaughey, Jr. Jennifer Renee Washington, Samantha Jo Ozment, Christopher Wayne Ozment, Davith Houk, Joshua Houk and Candice Feather

  • Fourteen great grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.
