Lindsey Wilson Women's Golf Leads SEKI at Midway Point Final round is today, Friday, March 25, at Crooked Creek Golf Club, 781 Crooked Creek DR, London, KY By Chris Wells News from Lindsey Wilson College Golf LONDON, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team opened its spring season today at the Southeastern Kentucky Intercollegiate hosted by University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) at Crooked Creek Golf Club. The No. 10-ranked Blue Raiders lead at the midway point following their opening round 320. Lindsey Wilson leads host and No. 19-ranked Cumberlands by six strokes following the Patriots' 326. No. 23-ranked Campbellsville (KY) University is third with an opening round 343. Lindsey Wilson sophomore Kelsey Joslyn leads the tournament after an opening round, three-over par 76 (36-40) over the par-73, 6,008-yard Crooked Creek layout. Joslyn recorded a first round-best three birdies in the round to lead by two strokes over freshman teammate Kaitlin Allan (42-36) and Cumberlands' McKinzie Price (40-38) - who both shot 78s today. Lindsey Wilson senior Chelsey Key is fifth overall after a 79 (41-38) while sophomore Jennifer MacKinnon is tied for 11th with an 87 (44-43) and junior Paola Gonzalez is tied for 18th with a 92 (47-45). Freshman Candace Stacy, playing as an individual, is tied for 23rd after an opening round 98 (53-45).The final round of the Southeastern Kentucky Intercollegiate is scheduled for Friday, March 25, 2011, at Crooked Creek Golf Club, 781 Crooked Creek DR, London, KY.
