Dennis Hugh Morgan, 66 of Campbellsville, KY died at 6:46pmCT, Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services will be at 1pmE/12 noon CT, Friday, March 25, 2011, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral, at 1pmCT, Friday, March 25, 2011, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Jim Duncan. Burial will be in the Green River Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, Campbellsville, KY.



Pallbearers: Charles Grider, Keith Morgan, Mark Morgan, Nathan Morgan, Brett Watson, and Ron Zubatch.

Honorary pallbearers: Daniel Fluckes, Lorenzo Fluckes, and John C. Schnapp.

Dennis Hugh Morgan, Taylor Co., KY (1945-2011)

Dennis Hugh Morgan was the son of the late Alvin Morgan and Helen Lewis Morgan. He was born in Detroit, MI, Wednesday, February 14, 1945. He died Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY, at the age of 66 years, 1 months, and 8 days.

He was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company after some forty-four years.He was a member of the Ford Local #182 UAW in Livonia, Michigan for forty-four years.

He loved to travel, enjoyed going to the park and being around nature and enjoyed boating.

He united in marriage to Gloria Jean Gray Huffman May 30, 2007. Besides his wife, Gloria Jean Morgan, he is survived by the following:
  • His children: Donna Schnapp and husband, John of Milwaukee, WI; Mark Morgan and wife, Michelle of Linden, MI: Keith Morgan, along with his companion Nancy Budde, and Angela Fluckes and husband, Lorenzo of Garden City, MI; Tammie Henderson Cornell and husband, Dale of Campbellsville, KY, and Dike Jenkins, Jr. and wife, Julie of Painesville, OH

  • Thirteen grandchildren: Meena Z. Huffman, Daniel L. Fluckes, Brett Watson, Sarah Watson, Ethan Cornell, Sara Schnapp, John Schnapp, Ashley Morgan, Nathan Morgan, Erica Morgan, Erin Morgan, Robin Amelia Jenkins and Dalton Jenkins

  • One special great-granddaughter, Kylie Ann Hall

  • One brother and five sisters: Gary Morgan and wife, Beverly of Slidell, LA; Faye Kearney and husband, Tom of Brooklyn, MI: Connie Schneider and husband, Jack of Traverse City, MI; Dee Dee Holmes and husband, John of Dearborn Heights, MI; Alice Pratt and husband, Bob of Hamilton, OH; and Carol Bul and husband John of Westland, MI

  • Mother in law: Cora Gray of Campbellsville, KY

  • Sister in law: Lynda Kay Lehr of South Lyon, MI

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends.
