He was a native of Columbia, KY, a member of a much loved and respected Adair County family, and was a graduate of Adair County High School. He was retired from Ford Motor Company in Louisville, KY

Gary Grady, 70, passed away Friday March 18, 2011.

The funeral will be 2pmET/1pmCT, Thursday, March 24, 2011, at G.C. Williams Funeral Home Inc., 1935 W. Broadway, Louisville, KY, Burial will be in Green Meadows Cemetery, 3800 Shanks LN, Louisville, KY. Visitation is after 12 noon ET/11amCT, Thursday, March 24, 2011, at the funeral home.



He was preceded in death by his parents Grant and Gertrude Grady, siblings Norman Grady and Meredith Johnston.

He is survived by his wife Martha Jean Grady, and the following:
  • Daughter: Cynthia Shontee (Robert)

  • Siblings: Helen Paige, Burnada Murray (Charles), Debra Brown (John), and William Grant Grady (Monika)

  • Brother in law Raymond Johnston

  • Sister-in-law: Sarah Grady

  • Two grandchildren

  • And host of other relatives and friends
The G.C. Williams Funeral Home Inc., 1935 W. Broadway, Louisville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
