Jane Barnett Hutchison, Adair Co., KY (1933-2011)

She was a respected member of a prominent, old-line Columbia family, the widow of Carl Hutchison, and a member of the Columbia Christian Church. She was retired from the First National Bank in Columbia, KY, after a career of 30 plus years with the bank.

Jane B. Hutchison, 77, of Columbia, KY, died Sunday, March 20, 2011 at 10:26 amCT, at Summit Manor Health and Rehab, Columbia, KY.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 10:30amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Terry White officiating. Burial will be in Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Tuesday, March 22, 2011.

She was born July 16, 1933 in Adair Co., KY. She was the daughter of the late Herman and Mary Myers Barnett. She died Sunday, March 20, 2011, in Columbia, Adair Co., KY, at the age of 77 years, 8 months, and 4 days.She was a member of Columbia Christian Church and was retired from First National Bank in Columbia after 30 plus years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hutchison, on June 16, 2009.

Survivors include the following:
  • Her son and daughter-in-law: David and Leisa Hutchison of Bowling Green, KY

  • Her grandson: Benjamin Hutchison of Bowling Green, KY

  • Her sister: Mary Ellen LaFavers of Somerset, KY

  • One niece and one nephew: Mary Jane and husband Bill Bond of Oklahoma City, OK, and Bob and Reta Moss of Columbia, KY

  • Several other relatives and friends.
