She was a member of a highly regarded family with strong ties in Green and Taylor Counties. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church

Margaret Bright, 78, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 11:10pmET, Friday, March 18, 2011, in Greensburg, KY.

The funeral services is at 2pmET/1pmCT, Monday, March 21, 20011 at the Parrott &Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Dr. James E. Jones. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, West Main ST, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmET/4pmCT, Sunday, March 20, 2011.



Pallbearers: Alvin Bright, Willard Bright, DeWayne Utah Canada, Roy Canada, Bobby McCubbin, and Josh Marcum.

Margaret Bright, Taylor Co., KY (1932-2011)

Margaret Bright was the daughter of the late Willie Thomas Bright and Cora Ethel Mardis Bright. She was born October 2, 1932 in Taylor Co., KY. She died, Friday, March 18, 2011, in Greensburg, Green Co., KY, at the age of 78 years, 5 months, and 16 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by the following:
  • One sister and brother-in-law: Allyene and Seawood Wright, Campbellsville, KY

  • One sister-in-law: Marie Bright, Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends
She was also preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers: Irene Mardis, Mildred Colvin, Alta Mae Short, Linus Bright, Howard Bright, David Bright, Thomas Bright and Elzie Bright.

Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Building Fund aand may be made at the funeral home.

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
