News from the Adair County Sportsmans Club

It seems that everyone has an opinion about the Sportsmans Club, some positive and some negative. I have been a member of the Sportsmans Club for over 30 years years and on the Board of Directors or an officer for the past 15 years or so. I got involved in the management of the organization when my children were small and I wanted them to learn gun safety and good sportsmanship afield. The organization has never let me down.

The Adair County Sportsmans Club is setting up a new web site that is interactive with its own forum where members and the public can discuss wildlife conservation issues, reloading information, 4-H events, upcoming shooting events, gun safety, or anything else shooting or wildlife conservation related. To comment or use the forum, one must register. There is also information about the organization and the $30 per year family dues may be paid on line. To visit the website, click to Adairsportsmen.org

We would like to have invite everyone to checkout our website and become more informed about the Sportsmans Club. Hopefully, we can clarify any misconceptions that may be out there and inform everyone that our mission is to protect wildlife for future generations and promote the shooting sports. - Barry Jones, Vice President 2011, Adair Co Sportsmans Club
