E.P. Bryant, Adair Co., KY (1934-2011)

He was a member of a large, respected Northeast Adair Co., KY family. He was a timber cutter for various lumber companies in the area for many years.

E.P. Bryant, 77, a resident of The Millerfield Community of Adair Co., KY, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 9:33amCT, at the Casey County Hospital in Liberty, KY, after several weeks illness.

The funeral service for Mr. E.P. Bryant is Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 11amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY with Bro. Ronnie Campbell the officiating clergy. Interment in the Bryant Cemetery, 360 Bryant Cemetery RD, Columbia, KY. The family request visitation after 4pmCT, on Monday, March 14, 2011, at the funeral home.



E.P. Bryant, Adair Co., KY (1934-2011)

He was born Wednesday, February 28, 1934. He was the son of the late Pete and Ethel Bryant of Adair Co., KY. He died Saturday, March 12, in Liberty, Casey Co., KY, at the age of 77 years, and 12 days.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Stargel Bryant, September 26, 2009. Preceded in death by brothers, Lester Bryant and Montie Bryant; and sisters, Ada Hites, Ruthie Burton, Leona Burton, Naomi Brock, Beatrice McGahaSurvived by the following:
  • His two sons: Jason Bryant and wife Charlene of Liberty, KY, and Jessie Bryant and wife Kim of Russell Springs, KY

  • Two sisters: Geneva Rooks of Edinburg, IN; and Evelyn Burton of Taylorsville, IN.

  • Five grandchildren

  • Several nieces, nephews

  • And a host of friends.
Mr. Bryant was a timber cutter for various lumber companies in the area for many years.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
