Mrs. Reeda Faye Davis Woolf, 61, a native of Green Co., KY, departed this life Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Frye Regional Medical Center, Hickory, NC.

Graveside services will be conducted 2pmCT, Sunday, March 13, 2011 at the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church of the Nolynn Association Cemetery in the Grab Community of Green Co. KY, with Rev. Robert Gosser the officiating clergy. Friends may call after 4pmCT, Saturday, March 12, 2011, and after 7amCT, Sunday at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W. Court ST, Greensburg, KY.



Pallbearers: Neal Davis, Kevin Davis, Brian Ferguson, Bruce Clymer, Troy Clymer, and Cole Davis.

Mrs. Reeda Faye Davis Woolf was born April 26, 1949 in Green Co., KY. She was the daughter of the late Boyce (Cutler) Davis and Roxie Ozell Davis. She departed this life Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in Hickory, Catawba Co., NC,, having attained the age of 61 years, 10 months and 12 days.

Mrs. Woolf had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hickory, NC where she volunteered in the nursery. She was known for sending cards of encouragement to anyone in need. She was previously employed by Dot's Women Wear and Mark Knuckles and Associates.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother: Boyce Davis, Jr. and sisters: Gay Wooldridge and Willow Norris.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, James (Jim) L Woolf, and the following:
  • A daughter, Sherra Waldrop and husband George of Hickory, NC

  • Brother and sister in law: Scottie and Pat Davis of Greensburg, KY

  • Sister and brother in law: Zora and Jasper Clymer of Greensburg, KY

  • And numerous nieces and nephews and close family friends.
The family has requested donations be made to First Baptist Church of Hickory, North Carolina, The Gideons International or the Susan G. Komen Foundation. These can be made at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY.
