Alexis Kessler competing in State Swim Meet Alexis Kessler, the daughter of Timothy and Lori Kessler of Lexington KY, qualified in eight events for the 2011 Kentucky Short Course Swimming Championship in the 13 and Over Division. The KY Short Course State A swim meet is March 11-13 at the Lancaster Aquatic Center on UK campus in Lexington KY. Alexis is the granddaughter of Edward and Linda Kessler of Columbia, KY, Susan Watson, and Carl and Vicki Griffith of Liberty. Great grandparents are Geraldine Grant and Garnett and Geneva Kessler of Columbia, and George and Inez Griffith of Liberty. Alexis, who is on the Highbridge Aquatics team, placed 15th in the preliminary for 100 Breast and was one of 16 to return for the finals for 100 Breast. She will be competing in several events and relays per day.
