Lewis Dean Withers, 60, E. Hwy 80, Russell Springs, KY, died Sunday, February 27 2011, at the Russell County Hospital Emergency Room in Russell Springs, KY.

The funeral will be Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at 11amCT, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Josh Owens and Bro. Jeff Kerr the officiating clergy. Burial will be in WIlkerson Cemetery. Friends my call after 5pmCT, Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at the funeral home.



Lewis Dean Withers, Russell Co., KY (1950-2011)

Lewis Dean Withers was the son of Ruby Warner Withers and the late Arlis M. Withers. He was born Saturday, December 16, 1950, in Casey Co., KY, and died Sunday, February 27 2011, in Russell Springs, Russell Co. KY, at the age of 60 years, 2 months, and 11 days.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Kay Lynn Withers, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • Two sons: Greg Withers and Tony (Flonnie) Withers, both of Russell Springs, KY

  • One granddaughter: Lilli Withers

  • His mother: Ruby Withers, Russell Springs, KY

  • Four brothers: Elwood Withers, Charles Withers, and Hubert Withers, all of Paxton, IL; and A.G. Withers, Gifford, IL

  • Two sisters: Jewell Wade, Dunnville, KY and Leola Benningfield, Dallas, GA
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard and Everett Withers.

He was an electrician/plumber.

Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
