Maxine Humble, Adair Co., KY (1918-2011)

She was a member of a highly regarded East Adair County family, the widow of Rymon Humble. She was a beloved former teacher in the Adair County School system and a member of the Columbia United Methodist Church.

Maxine Humble, 92, of Columbia, KY, died Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Cedars of Lebanon in Lebanon, KY

The funeral service will be Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 1pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST MAP, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Steve Martin officiating. Burial in Murrell Cemetery, in the Craycraft Community of Adair Co., KY. Visitation after 11amCT, Sunday, until the time of the funeral.



Maxine Humble, Adair Co., KY (1918-2011)

She was born Sunday, November 17, 1918 in Adair Co, KY, She was daughter of the late Lucian and Irene Murrell Brockman. She died died Friday, February 25, 2011in Lebanon, Marion Co. KY, at the age of 92 years, 3 months, and 8 days.

She was the widow of William Rymon Humble, a member of Columbia United Methodist Church and a retired educator.

Survivors include the following:
  • Three children: Billy Humble of Columbia, Jimmy Humble of Columbus, OH, Dorothy Antle of Frankfort, KY

  • One grandson: Jeffrey Humble

  • One great-grandson, Christopher Humble

  • And two great-great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Chris Humble.

The family requests no flowers, but would appreciate a donation to the Green River Animal Shelter in her memory.
