The show will feature an ensemble cast composed of CU students and faculty, as well as one student from Taylor County High School. The cast members from Campbellsville University are David Emerson of Dunnville, KY; Bethany Hickman of Georgetown, KY; Kim Hough of Louisville, KY; Melanie Jones of Albany, KY; Reyn Judd of Greensburg, KY; Farrin Marlow of Campbellsville, KY; Andrew McNeil of Louisville, Tenn.; Lacy Mudd of Campbellsville, KY; Ed Pavy, director of campus ministries, of Campbellsville, KY; Jesse Reese of Old Bridge, NJ; Robert Ian Shepard of Somerset, KY; Sierra White of Bowling Green, KY and Cassandra Gardner Wilson of Campbellsville, KY. Others include Holley Godbey of Somerset, KY; and Bella Jeffries of Campbellsville, KY. The show will consist of four, one-act plays that share a common theme, though the plot of each play is unrelated to the other. The four plays are "Trifles," "Suppressed Desires," "Tickless Time" and "The Outside." "In a nut shell, two of the shows are extremely funny and two of them are of a more serious nature," said Starr Garrett, director of the theater department and the show's stage director. "All four bring up interesting points about the way people interact with each other, both lovingly and not-so-lovingly." Dr. Frieda Gebert, associate professor of theater and the production's technical director, said that all four plays present different pictures of American society. Admission to the show is $5 and reservations can be made by contacting the theater department at theater@campbellsville.edu. This story was posted on 2011-02-24 08:33:11
