Great Backyard Bird Count is underway At 9:03:amCT, Columbia, KY had moved up to second in the Nation. Spartanburg, SC, was still in First Place. Wayne Armitage claims first count at Tucker's Station By Barbara Armitage The Count is ON! Wayne is claiming the first count up here on the hill at Tucker's Station. He saw Cardinals, Song Sparrows, Robins, and Goldfinch at 7 am this morning. Of course I think that the fact that I made sure that all of our feeders were filled to the brim helped. This is a beautiful day to be outside - go out and enjoy the birds! -Barbara Armitage This story was posted on 2011-02-18 07:30:47
