He was a native of Columbia, KY, a member of a respected family with deep roots in Adair and Russell Counties, KY, and had been a brick mason by trade

Rodney Dean Irvin, 42, Horntown RD, Russell Springs, KY, died Thursday, February 3, 2011, in an auto accident on KY 76 west of Webb's Crossroads, KY..

A memorial service will be held Monday, February 7, 2011, at 1pmCT, at West 80 Church of God, 3727 W. 80 (MAP), Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Hershel Lawhorn the officiating clergy. Friends my call after 11amCT, at the church.



Rodney Dean Irvin, Russell Springs, KY (1968-2011)

Rodney Dean Irvin was born in Columbia, Adair Co., KY, on Wednesday, April 10, 1968. He was the son of the Virginia Mae Lawless Irvin, who survives, and the late Annet Lee Irvin. He died Thursday, February 3, 2011, near Webb's Cross Roads in Russell Co., KY, at the age of 42 years, 9 months, and 24 days.He is survived by his fiancee', Jamie Mann, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • Five children: Rodney Irvin, Jr.; Chad Lee Irvin, Jesslyn Irvin, and Latessia Duncan, all of Russell Springs, KY, and Nicole Irvin, Indianapolis, IN

  • His mother: Virginia Irvin, Russell Springs, KY

  • Four brothers: John Irvin, Charles Irvin, Annett Irvin, Jr.; and Brandon Irvin, all of Russell Springs, KY

  • Two sisters: May Riley and Judy Walters, both of Russell Springs, KY
