Berel Nation, 78, of Burkesville, KY, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011, in Burkesville, KY.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, January 30, 2011, at 1pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Thomas Smith, and Bro. Sam Booher officiating. Burial will be in Garner Cemetery, Cumberland Co., KY. Visitation will be from 5pmCT until 9pmCT on Saturday, January 29, 2011, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, Inc. in Burkesville, KY.



Berel Nation, Cumberland Co., KY (1933-2011)

Berel was born Thursday January 19, 1933. He was the son of the late Gertie Madison Nation,and the late John Nation. He died Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at the age of 78 years, 7 days.

He was a member of Sexton Fork Separate Baptist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a U.S. Postal Service Delivery Driver for 34 years.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.

Survivors Include the following:
  • His wife: Lucy Riddle Nation, Burkesville, KY

  • One son: Tony Nation and wife Lisa of Burkesville, KY

  • One grandchild, Kristie Nation of Burkesville, KY; and Friend Jared Scott

  • One special friend: Phillip Holman of Burkesville, KY
