Mrs. Lois Clark Wilcoxson, 97, Green Co., KY, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011.

The funeral services for Mrs. Lois Clark Wilcoxson will be conducted at 10amCT, Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Clark Family Cemetery. Bro. Meryl Young and Bro. Garnett Wayne Davis will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 2pm-9pmCT,. Friday, January 21, 2011, and after 7amCT, Saturday, January 22, 2011, at the funeral home, until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: James Clark, Ralphy Clark, Larry P. Clark, Joey Clark, Doug Clark, and Wayne Allen Clark.

Mrs. Lois Clark Wilcoxson, 97, Green Co., KY (1913-2011)

Mrs. Lois Clark Wilcoxson was the daughter of the late Joseph Stanton Clark and Maggie Lou Sullivan Clark. She was born on Monday, January 27, 1913 in Green Co. KY. She died Wednesday, January 19, 2011. She was 97 years, 11 months and 23 days of age.

She had made profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Liletown United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and mother.

She united in marriage to James Theodore Wilcoxson on October 17, 1948 who preceded her in death on March 5, 1978.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two sons and a daughter-in-law: Joseph and Bonnie Wilcoxson and James "Jimmy" A. Wilcoxson all of Greensburg, KY

  • Two daughters and sons-in-law: Mary Lois and Gene Belcher of Somerset, KY, and Sarah Akin Judd and her husband Gene of Greensburg, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Shelli Allison and her husband Jerry of Tennessee; and Jason Wilcoxson and his wife Tina, and David Wilcoxson all of Greensburg, KY

  • Three great-grandchildren: Camron Allison, Meghan Allison and Kailynn Wilcoxson

  • A sister: Lou Buckner Bishop of Glasgow, KY

  • Two brothers: Richard Clark and Larry Clark both of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Mrs. Wilcoxson was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters: Houston "Nuddy" Clark, George "Chunk" Clark, Nell Jones, Isobel Clark and Elizabeth Ann Clark.

The Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY in charge of arrangements.
