Obituary: Pamela Jo Coffey, 42, Jamestown, KY

She was a member of a highly regarded family with deep roots in Adair and Russell Counties of KY; a native of Adair Co., KY, a teacher's assistant, and a member of the Jamestown Christian Church.

Pamela J. Coffey, 42, of KY 91, Jamestown, KY, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 10amCT, Friday, January 21, 2011, at the Jamestown Christian Church, 65 S. Main ST (MAP), Jamestown, KY, with Rev. Tony Stephens the officiating clergy and special music by Rick Mann and Dean and Sheila McKinley. Burial will be in the Wolford Cemetery, on KY 92, Russell County, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Thursday, January 20, 2011, and after 8amCT, Friday, January 21, 2011, at Jamestown Christian Church.



Pallbearers: Buddy Coe, Brent Robertson, Mike Emerson, Jonathan Smith, Brian Wilson, Jeremy Coffey, Jeff McGaha, Garvin Hadley, Todd Starnes. Honorary: Darren Jones and Donnie Jones.

Pamela Jo Coffey, Adair Co., KY, native (1968-2011)

Pamela Jo Coffey was born Saturday, October 26, 1968, in Columbia, Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of Linda Sue Goodin Jones and James R. Jones, who survive. She died in Jamestown, Russell Co., KY, on Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at the age of 42 years, 2 months, and 24 days.

She is survived in addition to her parents, Linda Sue Goodin Jones and James R. Jones , Russell Springs, KY, by her husband, Timothy Allen Coffey, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • One daughter: Meleah Jo Coffey

  • One brother: Darren R. (Jo Beth) Jones, Russell Springs, KY

  • Mother and father in law: Wendell B. and Nancy Coffey, Russell Springs, KY

  • One sister in law: Maria Coffey, Shelbyville, IN

  • Two aunts: Beulah Jones, Russell Springs, KY, and Kay Burton, Columbia, KY

  • Cousins: Donnie and Stephanie Jones, Ben Jones, Morgan Jones, Ann Williamson, Matthew Williamson, Elizabeth Jones, Ty Perry, and Stefanie Miller
The family requests memorials to the Jamestown Christian Church Children's Ministry.
