James Albert "Boots" Mattingly of Campbellsville, KY, died at 12:30pmET, Monday, January 17, 2011 in Campbellsville

The funeral service will be at 11amET/10amCT, Thursday, January 20, 2011 atthe Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Ben Spencer and Rev. Shaun Caudill. Entombment will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 3878 Greensburg RD, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation wil be after 5pmET/4pmCT, Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at the funeral home.



James Albert "Boots" Mattingly, Taylor Co., KY (1927 - 2011)

James Albert "Boots" Mattingly was son of the late John Henry Mattingly and Ruth Mattingly. He was born in Marion Co., KY, Monday, June 24, 1927. He died Monday, January 17, 2011 in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY, at the age of 83 years, 5 months, and 7 days.

Besides his wife, Mary Bennett Mattingly, he is survived by the following:
  • Two sons and one daughter: Randall Lee Mattingly and Jeffery Mattingly of Campbellsville, KY; and Mildred Brown of Louisville, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Connie Sue Bowen and husband, Dale of Louisville, KY, and Cameron Mattingly of California

  • Step-grandson: Michael Miller of Shepherdsville, KY

  • One sister: Nellie Mattingly of Loretto, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and many friends
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Herbert Mattingly and Robert Mattingly.

The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY in charge of arrangements.
