KSP investigating Harris RD, Columbia, KY shooting 74 year old Carl Harrison found shot in the head after KSP receives and responds to call from Adair County 911 of shots at 304 Harris RD, (MAP) off Snake Creek Road between Christine and Egypt. Harrison taken to Westlake, then in UofL Hospital. Trooper Bradley Stotts continuing investigation. Adair Co. Sheriff's Office assisted in action. -CM By TFC William Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY Adair Co., KY - Trooper Bradley Stotts is investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Saturday, January 15, 2011, in Adair County. State Police in Columbia received a call from Adair County Dispatch of shots fired at 304 Harris Road in Adair County. Upon arrival units located the victim, Carl Harrison age 74 of Columbia, KY, who had been shot in the head. Harrison was transported to Westlake Regional Hospital by Adair County EMS and later transferred to UofL hospital for non life threatening injuries. KSP located and interviewed a suspect, as well as, the victim and witnesses. The investigation is ongoing by Trooper Stotts. KSP was assisted by the Adair County Sheriff's office.
