Remembering Emily Sargent: Prayer requested for sister

Joan C. McKinney, News and Publications Coordinator at Campbellsville University, sends a copy of request circulated on campus yesterday
Please be in prayer for Mary Frances May, a member of the Campbellsville University Board of Trustees, whose sister, Emily Cain Edwards Sargent, 80, of Columbia, Ky., died Thursday, Jan. 13, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Ky.

The funeral will be Sunday, Jan. 16, at 1 p.m. CT (2 p.m. ET), at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST., Columbia, with Dr. Ted Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville ST., Columbia.

Visitation will be after 3 p.m. CT (4 p.m. ET) Saturday, Jan. 15 at the funeral home.

She was a retired real estate agent.

Please be with Mrs. May and the family in their time of grief.

Memorials are suggested to Columbia Baptist Church and may be left at the funeral home.
