Obituary: Johnny Wayne Keltner, 73, Adair Co. KY

He was a member of a large, respected Adair Co., KY, family. He had retired after 35 years as a trucker. He was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Johnny Wayne Keltner, 73 of the Milltown Community passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 3:39pmCT at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisvllle, KY.

Funeral service Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 1pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY. Clergy officiating will be Dr. Gary Irvin, Rev. Gary Polston and Bro. Larry Shelton.Interment on Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty RD, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Tuesday, December 21, 2010.



Johnny Wayne Keltner, Adair Co., KY (1937-2010)

He was born on Saturday, August 28, 1937. He was the son of the late Clayton and Evelyn Reliford Keltner. He died Sunday, December 19, 2010, in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY, at the age of 73 years, 3 months, and 20 days.

Preceded in death by one daughter: Judith "Judy" Keltner on December 30, 2005 and one sister Dixie Lee WrightHe is survived by his wife: Violet Coffey Keltner of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • Three sons: Brad Keltner and his wife Ann of Columbia, KY, Rod Keltner and his wife Margena of Campbellsville, KY and Rick Keltner and his wife Amy of Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Frances Akin of Columbia, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Riley Keltner, Jacob Keltner, Stevie Keltner, and Thomas Keltner

  • One step grandson: Mason Burton

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Green County and was a retired after 35 years as a truck driver.
