Lap Sit Program time changes at Adair Public Library

Popular Lap Sit Program time at the Adair County Public Library has changed from 1pmCT. to 10amCT, on Mondays
Changes will be made in CM Events reflecting the new time

The Adair County Public Library, 307 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY will be offering a Baby Time Lap Sit Program on Mondays at 10amCT for care givers and their children, ages infant to 24 months.

Baby Time is an early literacy program designed to encourage care givers of babies to enjoy learning together and instill the importance of communicating with your child.

The simple activities demonstrated at Baby Time programs at the library are ideas for you to expand upon and incorporate into your child's daily routine.

Through songs, rhymes and books we will be helping you to introduce your child to the rhythm and rhyme of language and, as research has proven, create a solid foundation for the development of your child's language skills and their ability to learn to read.

We invite parents to join us for a time of bonding and learning through songs, rhymes, books and activities which parents and baby can enjoy together. -Aleina Milligan, Children's Librarian
