Obituary: Virginia Marie Mann, 84, Russell Springs, KY

She was a member of a large, highly regarded Russell Co., KY, family. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God

Virginia Marie Mann, 84, Lakeway DR, Russell Springs, KY, died Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at the Russell Co. Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

The funeral service will be Sunday, November 21, 2010, at 2pmCT, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Scott Proctor the officiating clergy. Special music will be by Tonya Meece and Rick Mann. Burial will be in the Parks Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6pmCt, Saturday, November 20, 2010, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers: Dwayne Wilson, Tim Wilson, Tyler Bloyd, Oler Bloyd, Ricky Mann, and Richard Wooldridge.

Virginia Marie Mann, Russell Co., KY (1926-2010)

Virginia Marie Mann was the daughter of the late Flonnie R. Wilson Smith and Oscar Ray Smith. She was born Monday, February 1, 1926, in Russell Co., KY, and died November 17, 2010, in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 84 years, 9 months, and 16 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos H. Mann, and by two sons, Ronnie and Mike Mann.

She is survived by the following:
  • One daughter: Barbara Faye (Ronald) Wilson, Russell Springs, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Dwayne Wilson, Tonya Bloyd, Time Wilson, Mark Mann, Michelle Davis, and Michael Blaine Mann

  • Twelve great grandchildren

  • Two brothers: Herbert H. Smith and Scott Smith, both of Ohio.
Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
