Remembering Steve Wheeler: He was a great friend Larry Smith called at 7:45amCT, Friday, November 5, 2010, to say: I've got some sad news. Steve Wheeler died this morning in Louisville, KY. He was a great friend. I'll miss him. He was just 55. He was an extremely popular call in guest on 92.7 the WAVE. I don't know how anyone will ever forget him as "Pupils Passmore." He was a really funny performer. Steve was a graduate of Adair County High School and was a retired Kentucky State Police dispatcher. The funeral will be at Grissom-Martin, but the arrangements won't be made until later in the day. -Larry Smith, The WAVE, 92.7 FM.A complete obituary will be posted as soon as available.
