He was a member of a large, respected Adair Co., KY family and of the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church and a former factory worker

David S. Burris, 50, of the Gradyville community, died Sunday, October 31, 2010 at 7:30amCT athis residence after an illness

The funeral service will be Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 11amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Steve Willis officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 102 Mt. Carmel Cemetery RD, Columbia, KY. Visitation is after 4pmCT, Tuesday, November 2, 2010.



Casket Bearers: Mike Burris, Danny Burris, Reid Gist, Mark Atkins, Steve Reece, and Wilburn Sneed.

David S. Burris, Gradyville, Adair Co., KY (1960-2010)

David S. Burris was born May 10, 1960 in Adair County to Clavis "Short" and Voyce Shirley Burris, and died Sunday, October 31, 2010, in Gradyville, Adair Co., KY, at the age of 50 years, 3 months, and 21 days.

He was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church and a former factory worker.

Besides his parents, he is survived by the following:
  • His wife: Lana Cave Burris of Gradyville, KY

  • One brother: Donnie Burris of Gradyville, Ky

  • One sister: Marie Booker of Columbia, KY

  • Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends
