Obituary: Patricia A. Cooper, 60, Casey Co., KY

She was a member of a large, respected Casey County family. She leaves 33 direct living descendants. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Cooper was laid to rest in Barnett's Creek Cemetery

Patricia Ann "Patty" Cooper, 60, died Tuesday October 5, 2010 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Funeral services were 2pmET, Saturday, October 9, 2010, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 722 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY, by Bro. Marvin Lane and Bro. Junior Fields. Burial was at Barnetts Creek Cemetery.



Patricia Ann Cooper, Casey Co., KY (1949-2010)

Born in Casey County on Sunday, November 13, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Grace Allen Burton. She died Tuesday, October 5, 2010, in Lexington, Fayette Co., KY at the age of 60 years, 10 months, and 22 days.

She was homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Tony Ray Burton.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Edward Cooper, Sr., and the following:
  • One daughter: Michele Renay ( Dwight) Wesley of Indiana
  • Two sons: Bobby (Dana) Cooper and Charles (LaRanda) Cooper both of Hustonville, KY

  • Twenty-three grandchildren

  • Seven great-grandchildren

  • Three sisters: Charity and Vickie Hagan and Margaret Mills all of Indiana; and five brothers, Bob, Marion, Jeff, Steve and Tom Burton all of Indiana.
McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY, in charge of arrangements.
