Obituary: Virgie Luttrell, 98, Russell Co., KY She was the matriarch of a very large, respected Russell County family, whose descendants number one hundred, 95 of whom survive. She was a member of Bethel United Baptist Church and was a homemaker Virgie Luttrell, 98, Gary Cain RD, Russell Springs, KY, Died Sunday, September 19, 2010, at the Russell Co. Hospital, Russell Springs, KY. The funeral service will be Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at 1pmCT, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Delvin Wilson the officiating clergy. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Pallbearers: Gary Wright, Roger Wright, Leon McGowan, Jim Russell, Billy Jenkins, and Logan Sprague. Virgie Luttrell, Russell Co., KY (1912-2010) She was the daughter of the late Sarah Janes Ragel and Ruel Ragel. She was born Wednesday, July 24, 1912, in Russell Co., KY, and died Sunday, September 19, 2010, in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 98 years, 1 month, and 26 days. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Luttrell, and by four children, Hershel Luttrell, Ruby Luttrell, Flossie Luttrell, and Ralph Luttrell. She was a member of the Bethel United Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She is survived by the following:
