Obituary: Orlie Richard Burkett, 84 Russell Co. KY

He was the head of a large, respected Russell Co., KY, family. He was a plumber and was a U.S. Army veteran

Orlie Richard Burchett, 84, S. Hwy 127, died Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at his residence.

The funeral service will be at 12pm Noon, CT, Thursday, September 16, 2010, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Richie Curtis officiating. Burial will be in the Rexroat Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10amCT, Thursday, September 16, 2010, at the funeral home.



Orlie Richard Burchett, Russell Co., KY (1926-2010)

Orlie Richard Burchett was the son of the late Nora Brown Burchett and Garfield Burchett. He was born Sunday, August 15, 1925, in Russell Co., KY and died Tuesday, September 14, 2010, in Jamestown, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 84 years and 30 days.

He was a plumber and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Kinnett Burchett, and the following:
  • Nine children: Robert (Claire) Burchett, Albany, KY; Judy (Charles) Maynard, Melbourne, KY; Frances (John) Feinauer, Melbourne, KY; Brenda (Dale) Werner, Nebraska; Jessie Burchett, Russell Springs, KY; Jeannie Folks, Florida; John Burchett, Jamestown; Willenia (David) Curry, Columbia, KY; and Ann (Marvin) Johnson, Russell Springs, KY

  • And a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren
Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
